Template Based Web Sites run from $0 to $300 or more. Completely custom web sites also available from $500 or more (Typically $1000 to $3000).

TEMPLATE BASED SITES:
Initial customization of a template based site can run $100 to $500 or more, depending on complexity, animations, databases, number of pages, etc. If training is needed for somebody on your staff to maintain a site, that can be done by phone. 2 training sessions of 30 minutes each would run $100 and should be enough for somebody who is fairly computer literate unless a very high end template is chosen.

If you already have logo art, images, photos, or copy that you use in sales letters or advertising, then these elements can be added very easily. It's really a matter of budget for the basic look and feel and initial customization. Some options include:

I install a template and site builder application, email the login information.
You or a staff member figure it out from there, adding words and pictures that you already have.

Also note, all web sites require hosting on a web server so the site can be browsed. This is in addition to the initial design costs. My hosting is $9.99/mo for one domain, or $24.99/mo for unlimited domains. I provide 12 months service for the price of 10 with annual payment plans. There are less expensive hosting plans available, but the down time and difficulty in reaching support or finding one that speaks english well make them more costly than using mine in the long run.
